Paul Cusack
Veterinarian
Paul is a consultant cattle veterinarian, ruminant nutritionist, and beef producer with post-graduate training in the intensive and extensive ruminant industries.
Paul has held various positions within the livestock and veterinary industries. Paul has lectured veterinary and animal science students at the Universities of Queensland, and Sydney, and at Charles Sturt University, where he is an adjunct Professor. He also serves as Head Examiner in Beef Cattle Medicine and Production for the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists, and teaches post-graduate courses in ruminant nutrition and beef production medicine through the Centre for Veterinary Education.
Paul is the principal of Central Veterinary Services Cowra and director of Australian Livestock Production Services, which consults to intensive and extensive cattle and lamb enterprises throughout Australia and overseas, as well as being owner/manager of a cattle trading enterprise.

A great fit for a mixed practice clinic, Brianna not only displays care and empathy for our smaller patients, she also has a keen interest in large animal medicine and surgery.
In her spare time, Brianna can be found running and enjoys training her kelpie, Dusty.

Dr Ole graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2022. Working in both mixed practice and the cattle feedlot settings, Ole has a range of skills for the mixed practice clinic. Ole landed on Aussie soil in August 2024 and immediately began his journey with Central Veterinary Services, also working alongside Dr Paul Cusack with Australian Livestock Production services in the feedlot sector.
Ole has a keen interest in cattle and equine medicine and, outside of work, enjoys rugby!

Danielle Tysoe
A familiar face at 102 Darling Street, Danielle is literally part of the furniture! Born and educated in Cowra, Danielle's passion for animals would ultimately lead her to a career in the animal industry. After Year Twelve Danielle headed to Tamworth to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at South Tamworth Veterinary Hospital. During this time she also worked with the newly amalgamated veterinarians in Cowra.
Danielle graduated from Veterinary Nursing in 1995, and for the past 25 years has nursed animals big, small, feathered, furred and scaled! During this time Danielle has undertaken professional development courses, including surgical nursing, bandaging, anaesthesia in small animal practice and further accreditations in nutrition.
Away from her vet family Danielle enjoys spending time with her other family, her husband Shane and kids Tahlia and Kayne. Enjoying netball and tennis keeps her active, as well as looking after the many animals accumulated over the years at work.

Lauren started nursing in 2011 in a very busy Sydney clinic, where she gained experience and knowledge in breeding, orthopaedics and modern technologies.
Lauren began working with Central Veterinary Services in February 2018. She can be found on the reception desk or in the surgery, assisting in all aspects of nursing. Her interests are surgical nursing, breeding, emergency care and large animal work, whether that be in clinic or out in the field.
In her spare time, Lauren loves spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. Lauren is also a keen photographer and enjoys capturing animals and landscapes.

Deenita is local to the area, growing up on a family farm at Lyndhurst. From this background she has always enjoyed working with animals, both companion and production.
She has spent time working in the veterinary industry in Cowra since 1996. Deenita currently coordinates the Australian Livestock Production Services office.
When not at the clinic Deenita enjoys camping and water skiing at Wyangala Dam, spending time with her busy family of four children and menagerie of pets. She also has a special interest in wildlife rehabilitation.

Jessica joined us at CVS in July 2021 and is an integral part of the team. You will find Jess on reception and assisting with medical & surgical cases, gaining valuable knowledge on the job.
Jess is now a qualified veterinary nurse and is looking forward to continuing her education.
Outside of work Jess enjoys spending quality time with her very loved Dachshund Olive and keeping busy hiking, camping and fishing.

Jody began nursing back in 2001 working in a busy practice in the Hawkesbury,
Where she gained experience in all aspects of small animal nursing including surgery,
anaesthesia, critical care & emergency, dentistry, radiology and behaviour.
Jody graduated from Veterinary Nursing in 2003 with her Certificate III in Animal
Studies, Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and becoming a registered Microchip
implanter.
After 20 years in GP she made the leap into specialist vet nursing, joining SASH (Small
Animal Specialist Hospital) working as a theatre and anaesthesia nurse before making
the tree change to Cowra.
Jody has pursued further training in surgery, anaesthesia, CPR, dentistry, orthopaedics,
critical care and emergency and puppy pre-school.
Outside of work Jody enjoys spending her time training and competing in Agility,
SprintDogs, Lure Coursing and Scent Works with her Cocker Spaniels Willow, Sage & Wren.
