Missed appointment (failure to cancel) policy. Failure to cancel or re-schedule an appointment no less than 6 hours of the appointment will result in a $30 fee being charged to the client. While we understand that things happen unexpectedly, we ask that every effort is made to notify the clinic as soon as possible. Surgery appointments Our nursing team will phone clients the day prior to their pet's surgery to confirm admission time and any specific instructions. Failure to re-schedule or cancel a surgery booking will incur a $50 fee.
Prescription medication requests As per the Poisons and Theraputic goods legislation, Veterinarians are authorised to dispense prescription medications to bona fide clients for the treatment of animals. Due to the busy nature of our work, we require clients to order prescription medications 24 hours in advance. This will allow sufficient time for a veterinarian to review the patients' file and approve the medication. Allowances can be made in special circumstances. However, we cannot always guarantee immediate approval of medications - please phone ahead on 6341 1768
Routine appointments While every effort is made to accommodate requests to see specific veterinarians, emergencies may arise which result in a re-shuffle of appointments. Time permitting, we will contact clients to advise and offer an alternative appointment.
